About Martha Orbovich, Parent Advocate
The goal at Kids First Parent Advocacy, LLC is simple: we help you to better collaborate and communicate with your school district to develop an educational plan that works for your child, and improves the outcomes important to you and your family.
I have over a decade of experience in working with public school special education systems. As an advocate for your child, I will meet with you to review your child's strengths, and develop a plan to help the school system meet their needs. My services are a la carte, and range from document review only to attendance at meetings with your schools' special education team and administration.
I have both personal experience in parent advocacy, advocating for my own son. I also have obtained professional training in special education law and advocacy. I have completed a Wrights Law training, as well as the Council of Parent Attorneys and Advocates (COPAA) Special Education Advocacy Training (SEAT). I am currently completing a traineeship program with a local parent advocate.
